Fullerton Ave Hurricane Sandy Sunset...

This photo was taken on Tuesday, October 30th while Hurricane Sandy was pummeling the east coast and leaving a terrible trail of destruction. Hurricane Sandy was one of the most powerful storms in history and boasted a record setting barometric pressure reading of 940 millibars at its center. The storm was so large that it stretched across more than 1/3rd of the United States. Chicago was just on the edge of Sandy, so the only effects we felt where some large waves on the lake, blowing wind, a bit of rain, and a few epic sunsets.
