Sunrise at the Rocks Remixed....

I have been trying a few new techniques in the digital darkroom the past  couple of weeks to so I decided to take a look into the archives and try a re-edit of one of my older shoots to see if I could get them looking a bit better. Im really happy with the look and feel of this shot and its a look that I could never quite get with the skills I had at the time.
City Methodist Church

City Methodist Church has been been abandoned for over 3 decades. It cost 1 million dollars to build back in 1926 and was a successful congregation until 1974 when poor attendance forced a committee to hold a meeting to determine the fate of the church. They decided to relocate and close the church as of January 3rd, 1975. It has sat abandoned ever since. Its future remains unknown...

Abandoned since 1974, City Methodist Church was ravaged by a fire in 1997. To this day, the building sits abandoned and left to slowly become the earth that it was made from.
