Bwindi Impenetrable Waterfall...

After we spent the morning tracking wild silverback gorilla's through the dense Rainforest of Bwindi National Park in Uganda, Africa, we decided to head back out and take a guided tour of some waterfalls located deep in the rainforest. About 20 minutes in to the hike, a thunderstorm rolled in and the skies started dumping rain. The crazy thing about though, was that we really didnt get that wet. The dense forest seemed to absorb all the moisture before it made it down to ground lever. It was definitely crazy!! After about and hour and a half or so, we came up to these double falls. It was an experience I will never forget and one that I would definitely recommend if you ever have an opportunity to visit this distant tropical rainforest!!
Bear Creek Falls

The largest of the many waterfalls I encountered on the Million Dollar Highway. To get this view of the falls, you must descend a vertical rock face that is gnarly to say the least. Loose rock makes for a technical descent, but you are rewarded with this amazing view of the falls. The mist of the falling H20 and afternoon sunlight made perfect conditions for a mini rainbow!!!
