Legacy Dance Competition this weekend and this girl continues to amaze us.
So much hard work, long rehearsals, and dedication went into this season, and watching it all come together on stage is something special. We’re incredibly proud of the dancer she’s becoming and the teammate she is to everyone around her.

Mom and Dad will always be your biggest fans. ❤️

In May 2024, I spent 5 days in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin documenting a large-scale mural project featuring a spray paint artist working with Rust-Oleum.

This was a full production build, Steadicam coverage, drone cinematography, commercial photography, and complete post-production editing. From prep and layout to final reveal, every phase of the mural transformation was captured.

Large-format public art projects require more than just filming the final result. They require planning, movement, pacing, and visual storytelling that matches the scale of the work.

It was an amazing project to produce and film!.

Flying indoors at this scale isn’t just about speed, it’s about control, coordination, and trust. Lots of little guide wires for signage that I had to account in order to fly safely.

Grateful for the clearance and the opportunity to capture CDS from a completely different perspective.

Before the lights. Before the crowd. Before the keynote hits the stage.

This is where the real work starts.

4 days on assignment covering CDS at McCormick Place.

Today was a build day so not a ton to cover, but spent the day walking the floor and formulating a game plan getting ready to document the show. Also captured some fun shots of the President and Chair.

Conference mode. Locked in.

Making fast decisions under pressure isn’t casual.

And clients don’t pay for average.

If I expect peak performance from myself on set, I earn it before I get there.

Today was day one in the cyc studio shooting patio furniture with the 24–105 2.8.

Tomorrow we run it back.

Saturday is selects and prep for retouching.

Sunday–Tuesday I’m in the home studio shooting eyewear on the 100mm macro.

Then Wednesday–Saturday we’re the official photo team covering a major conference downtown.

Commercial. Product. Corporate.

Different environments. Different cameras and lenses. Same standard.

Versatility isn’t luck. It’s built.

If you’re trying to grow in this industry, don’t niche too early, build range first.

First real job putting the 24-105 2.8 through its paces… and it delivered. The added compression in that 70–105mm range over a standard 24–70 gives a ton more flexibility when capturing details on these premium sets.

When you’re shooting furniture, it’s all about shape, depth, and how the lines feel in frame. This lens made that easy.
Grateful to be creating in a space built for it. On to the next one.
